If there’s one thing I’ve learned about Popsugar, it’s that the Holiday Limited Edition is always the best. While the other ones spread out over the year are good, the Holiday ones are consistently great. At least for me. If you’re going to buy one limited edition box a year, your best bet is going to be this one.
I’ve had to start taking my photos in the sitting room because we’ve been packing up slowly but surely. So, that’s Dexter sitting on our new sheepskin we got while we were in New Zealand (best trip eveeerrr!).
This is a one time purchase so you’re not signing up for anything recurring. You do not have to be a current subscriber to buy one. Once the spoilers come out, they tend to go fast. The good thing is that if you don’t love everything in it, the contents make excellent gifts.
The Cost: $100/box
What You Get: Our Limited Edition boxes are filled with the most luxe surprises, exclusive products, and special collaborations. Only available during select times throughout the year, this is the perfect gift for someone special (including yourself!).
The Cambridge Satchel Company Tiny Satchel– You may remember this brand from one of Rachel Zoe’s boxes. I didn’t particularly care for the color (white) of the handbag we got in her box. This is really cute and it’s made of genuine leather, which I prefer. However, it has the strangest method of opening and closing. The metal… buttons on the side of the purse push through the holes on the flaps. And since the leather is so stiff and new, it is REALLY hard to do it! I can’t decide if it will be too much of a nuisance or not. The strap is adjustable which is great and the inside is quite roomy. I’m sure any phone will fit inside, probably even those big Note 7’s. (Update: the iPhone 7 plus doesn’t fit).
Value: $95
Pehr Designs Charcoal Muskoka Throw– This is a 100% cotton throw and it measures 50″ x 60″. That’s as tall as I am which means it’ll be perfect for wrapping up in. Although I do have to admit, it’s not a cuddly blanket really. I also cannot believe the price tag. Maybe I’m out of touch but when does a cotton blanket cost so much?
It’s very heavy so while it might not be super cuddly soft, it *is* super warm and comforting. It’s like when you’re at the dentist and they put the lead vest over you to take your x-rays. Super heavy and warm… maybe it’s like a thundershirt for dogs. And once you’re under it, you don’t want to move away from it’s warmth.
Value: $136
Louis Sherry 6-Piece Pink Truffle Collection– I’m not a big fan of truffles. I know that makes me strange. My mother both despairs and rejoices over my lack of enthusiasm for chocolate. On one hand, she cannot believe she birthed a child who doesn’t love chocolate. On the other, she’s glad that she doesn’t have to share and that I give her everything I don’t like. So, she’ll likely get these (minus that Strawberry one). And maaaybe minus the super adorable keepsake tin. Hm. Yeah, I’m keeping that part. Too cute!
Value: $22.50
K. Hall Simpatico Snow Hobnail Reed Diffuser– “Notes of refreshingly cool peppermint swirl with rich, creamy vanilla to warm your home in this soothing scent.” I love this scent! When I saw it was K.Hall, I thought it might be a little more… ambergris/woodsy and I’m glad it’s not. Perfect for the holidays plus the glass bottle is pretty. I’ll reuse that for sure!
Value $48
R+Co Tinsel Smoothing Oil- Normally I turn up my nose at hair products like this but I’m tempted to try this. I love my pixie cut and I don’t need a ton of smoothing but I would like to find something that actually *is* lightweight instead of saying it is. Oh, wait. It smells like patchouli. Nope. This will be passed along.
Value $24
Cargo Cosmetics Around the World Eye Shadow Palette– A cardboard palette of 12 shades, six shimmer and six matte. “Eye Shadows are arranged into 3 quads and 6 duos of expertly coordinated shades to achieve a variety of looks.” The colors are all very “me”. Nothing too flashy but I like a more muted, natural look.
I started playing with them after I took this photo and I’m actually really happy with it. The colors blend so nicely!
Value $34VERDICT: I love the throw and already have it out being pretty in my sitting room. Also already out there is the diffuser. I’m so all about Christmas and coziness right now. I’m actually pretty excited to try the Cargo palette and depending on how I feel about it, I may take it with me to Europe when I go. The satchel? I can’t decide. I actually do need a crossover bag but this is so… stiff. I may gift this. The truffles go to my mama and the Smoothing Oil to my mother-in-law. So everything will be used or gifted which is always a good thing. The retail value is insane at over $350 because of some serious markup (retail mark-ups are outrageous) and there’s no way I’d pay that kind of money for a blanket! Let’s be real. But I have it now so I’m using it!

What do you think of this box? Is anyone else as addicted to Popsugar as I am!?
