De Bruyere is a French brand and we’ve seen it before in Glossybox with their After Sun Lotion.
I’m interested in the Lycopene moisturizer, for sure. Studies appear to show that when lycopene is bonded to an oil (it’s fat soluable), it can be effectively absorbed by the skin. Since it’s a powerful antioxidant, the hope is that it will reduce skin damage and keep the skin plump and moisturized. There’s a lot of studies that are done “in house” by cosmetic companies so they’re biased and you have to take the claims with a grain of salt. There’s still no hard evidence that slathering on the antioxidants really do anything but I figure if there’s a possibility, might as well do it, right?
