TeeBlox T-Shirt Subscription Review and Coupon Cod

It’s hard not to love TeeBlox. I’ve actually got two subscriptions now. One for me and one for my husband. This month I got my box first. I had chosen the Games category and my first shirt is from Blizzard and features Diablo III on it. Since I’ve played all the Diablo games, getting this was pretty awesome. Nothing can touch the nostalgia that the original Diablo gives me (except maaaybe Wolfenstein) after spending copious amounts of time playing it by myself and co-op way back in the day.

There’s a variety of genres you can choose for your tshirts. It’s easy to switch from one to the other from your account, too. I just switched from Games to the new Sci-Fi one they’re offering. I switched because they showed these as the teaser shirts for it:

I would LOVE a Rebels shirt. I have really enjoyed that series and I can’t wait until the third season starts up. Sites are teasing that it should be around mid July so hopefully soon. What I really want to do is some Sabine cosplay. I’m not sure how good I’d be at making the armor though. Still, she’s so awesome.

The Cost: $12.99 plus $2.99 shipping

What You Get: One 100% authentic licensed geek and gamer shirt delivered to your door every month. You’ll also get two extra goodies that could be socks, coasters, posters, comic books, decals, stickers, etc.

What I love most about this service is that the tshirts are licensed. I prefer this because I like getting the real thing. The quality of the shirts has been very good. I think we’ve only received one that was somewhat flimsy. I like the thick cotteny ones because they last a lot longer.

TeeBlox also includes some extra fiddly bits like comics, posters, stickers, etc. Since I’m mainly in this for the tshirts, the rest doesn’t really interest me. I am, however, getting quite the collection of comic books. I don’t read them, though. I’ll probably pass them all off to my nephew (if his mom won’t kill me).

That said, it looks like TeeBlox is thinking of upping it’s game and including better and more varied extras. The price of the subscription went up by $3 in order to do that. It looks like it will be anything from socks and coasters to buttons and bracelets.

VERDICT: This is one of my favorite subscriptions because it’s affordable and totally worth it to get a new, nerdy shirt every month. Especially for my husband. Apparently you can’t take the nerd out of the businessman because he wears all of them without shame. Right now he’s getting the Star Wars Limited Edition box that was available over Christmas and I just switched from Games to Sci-Fi. I’m curious to see what will start coming in the new fangled version. I didn’t take a photo of the poster that was sent with the shirt and the comic book. Mainly because it’s huge, folded too many times to be useful and I’d already gotten it before. I think I would like it if they offered two versions… A cheaper one with no extras and the $3 more one with them. I’d get the shirt only for sure.

If you would like to sign up for TeeBlox, you can do that here. Use code BNBTBX for free shipping on your first month (that saves you $2.99)!
