TeeBlox May 2016 T-Shirt Subscription Review and Coupon Code

TeeBlox sends new, licensed t-shirts to your door every month along with a few extra goodies like stickers, comic books or posters. I find that it’s a great deal and the fact that you get to choose your t-shirt genre is the icing on the cake. Currently we get the Hot Meex version which means we get a variety from all the t-shirt categories.

Here are your category choices. I’m thinking of switching maaaaybe to Games but I actually think Hot Meex is working out pretty well so far. You can always get an idea of what kinds of shirts they send by checking out their shop.

The Cost: $9.99/month + $2.50 shipping

What You Get: One 100% authentic licensed geek and gamer shirt delivered to your door every month. You’ll also get two extra goodies that could be posters, comic books, decals and/or stickers.

This month we received a comic book, a poster and a The Flash. The t-shirt is a DC Comics Originals and is licensed. It has a good weight to it which I like. Actually, of all the tshirts we’ve received, they’ve all been fairly heavy fabric except one. Only one has been a really flimsy lightweight cotton.

Most t-shirts also have not had tags but instead have had the licensing and care instructions stamped on the inside.

Besides the shirt, there’s also a comic called “Masks” included. I think they must include one comic book every month because I’ve gotten one every time. This time it came with a really weird poster:

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Pikmin 2? Oh, LOL! No wonder I’ve never heard of it. It’s a game for the Nintendo Gamecube. I never used that platform. Anyway, this is a huge poster. I don’t really like it when they send posters because they’re folded so many times to fit into the bag, they don’t look so good when laid flat. I mean, I don’t mind because I don’t get this box for the posters but you know what I mean.
VERDICT: I’ve always said the best part of most of the geek and gamer boxes out there is the T-shirt. TeeBlox totally fulfills that requirement and then some. I think the price is affordable and while the extras aren’t really my thing, it’s nice that they’re included. My husband is the true fanatic when it comes to nerdy t-shirts and he’s been happy with almost every single one we’ve received. I think we might look for a way to switch from Hot Meex to Geek/Gamer specifically (mainly because he got a Disney Toy Story t-shirt last time). I happily repurposed last months t-shirt for myself so it definitely didn’t go to waste.
