Boxycharm is one of the best beauty boxes for makeup that I know of. There is always, always full size makeup in it. It is actually the box that gave me the urge to get rid of all my old crappy stuff from junior high and start anew. This month has one product I’m really interested in using, too. Plus one that I already love.

Spongelle You Have My Heart on a String- I’m just going to say it. I LOVE THESE! I got on last year in a Popsugar box and loved it but couldn’t bring myself to pay $16 for one. Now, I have another one! Woohoo! These last a long, long time and I love the exfoliation they give. I slathered mine with shower gel once the stuff that this is packed with was gone and kept using it til I figured it was time to toss it. This one smells like peonies.

Beauty for Real Blush + Glo Stick- This is a blush (coral crush) and a highlighter (hi-beam) in one. It has a cream to powder formula.
I think the highlighter is really pretty and smooths on. It also has the most perfect sheen to it. Not too sparkly or glittery- just a perfect glow.
The blush has a slightly drier consistency and is a little bit darker than I normally wear. I am excited to practice with this. I may take this with me on my trip, it’s that handy.

Shray Ms. Amazing Facial Mask- I like that these are popping up in subscriptions. It seems like for a long time this was an Asian beauty “thing” that didn’t transfer over. Now, however, they’re everywhere! That’s a good thing. I like sheet masks, especially good ones like these with no alcohol and with sodium hyaluronate for moisturizing. Once you take this off your face, pat in the leftover essence. The instructions say it works great for priming your skin for makeup.
Value: $12 (there are much better ones for much less, I have to admit)
Freeze 24/7 Anti-Aging Eye Serum- Apply a pea sized amount (that’s a lot!) to your under eye area and wait for the magic to happen. Say goodbye to fine lines, wrinkles and dark circles. This doesn’t have a spectacular ingredient list. Especially for the price. I think if you want to really get rid of fine lines and wrinkles, this is not the thing for you. Realtree for Her Perfume Spray- I got this a lllooooong time ago in a Birchbox (in a smaller size, of course) and didn’t really like it then. I still don’t. It’s just too floral for me.

Ofra Banana Powder Godet- This is an all-in-one face powder. Use it to conceal dark circles, to set your makeup or as a finishing powder. You can even use it as a highlighter. I had no idea what this was when I opened it because it’s just the pan. No case which is kinda strange. Although I admit, I was thinking I needed a metal magnet case type thing to carry all the colors I loved from all my palettes in one place. There surely must be a thing like that. I need to Google it.
I wonder if this would be too yellow for someone with pink/blue undertones.

VERDICT: This Boxycharm was worth it to me for the Spongelle and the Beauty for Real stick alone! In all honesty, I’m never a big fan of getting perfume in a subscription box. It’s just so subjective, I think it should be left to the sample box realm. But either way, the February Boxycharm surprised me with how much I am enjoying the contents. I’ll use the mask, try the funny yellow powder and enjoy my Spongelle. And the Glo Stick.
