Bespoke Post has never disappointed me quality-wise either. Everything has been well-made and durable using good materials. We’ve gotten quite a few boxes over the last year and everything has held up just fine.
The Cost: $45/month
What You Get: Undeniably high quality, unique items themed and curated for men’s interests of all types, anything from Life, Food, Drink and Style categories.
This month I chose “The Butcher” because… well, I wanted a cutting board. Hah! Of course, these boxes are technically for my husband and if there’s no box that shouts my name, he gets to look at the options and pick the one he wants.
Ft. Greene Farms Pickled Mustard Seeds– These plump, al dente – tender seeds are hugely flavorful, ready to be added to any dish in need of a little pop. They are welcome wherever you’d normally add a squeeze of lemon or splash of vinegar.
Hm. I’m not sure where I would use this but I’ll come up with something. Potato salad, maybe?
Value: $4
Ft. Greene Farms Charred Sriracha Sauce– I despise sriracha but my husband loves it. He thinks this is a good thing because he doesn’t have to share his bottle with me. He’s going to be thrilled to try this. This is small batch sriracha with Fresno Chili, Lime Juice, Rice Wine Vinegar, Shallots, Garlic, Sea Salt. Not sure what makes it charred but we’ll find out.
Value: $4
BeeLocal Honey Sticks x 3– Raw, unpasteurized honey. In other words, the good stuff that you especially don’t give to children under two. Serving suggestions are to serve alongside cheese or stir into your honey.
Value: $1
Treehouse Chocolate Co. Camp Drinking Chocolate– I’ve had this before and it is absolute heaven. Pure, unadulterated bliss. Just add water and it becomes a decadent cup of coffee with rich, thick 72% chocolate.
Value: $4
Brooklyn Butcher Blocks Long Grain Serving Board– This is a custom, hand-cut cherry and maple serving board. The long grain build means the wood pieces are put together edge side up. The dimensions are 12″x14″x1″. This was custom made just for Bespoke Post.
This is absolutely gorgeous. You should have seen me swoon when I first took it out of the box and ran my hand over it. While I personally prefer darker woods, this thing is now the best board I own. It’s going to be a staple in my kitchen and I’m using it for *something* the next time guests are over.
Value: $59?
Creminelli Fine Meats Soppressata Salami– This salami is redolent of garlic and red wine giving it a robust and easy-to-enjoy flavor. It’s in a straight, natural casing, hand-tied and then slowly cured. I’m a fan of Boar’s Head but my husband LOVES this kind of salami. And since this box is “his,” I’m glad it’s full of products he’ll enjoy.
Value: $12
VERDICT: If you are looking for a unique, special gift for a guy, I can’t think of anything more interesting than Bespoke Post. I got one for my BIL last year and he loved it. My husband loves his and we are constantly using the things we’ve acquired from them. This is a more expensive subscription but it’s worth it.
If you would like to sign up for a Bespoke Post subscription, you can do that here. Remember, you get to choose your box between the 1st and 5th of the month. If you don’t see anything you particularly want, just skip. It’s really easy to do from your account.
If you’re not sure about a box or a subscription, they also have a pretty manly shop full of all kinds of manly awesomeness.
Black Friday Exclusive: BLKBX: If you spend $45 or more, you receive a free Black Box. What’s in it? A mystery box of pocket-sized and fully enviable goods. You have to make your purchase ON Black Friday, though. So keep that in mind. Here’s what I got in last years Black Box.
