Wickbox is a truly luxurious candle subscription. This was like opening a gift and it took my breath away. This is a very special candle subscription. It looks like no other candle related subscription out there. Wickbox is something that you gift to someone you adore or a splurge for yourself to accent both your life and your home.
The presentation itself is beautiful. When I opened the box and saw the size of the candle included, I hardly knew what to think. Honestly, everything was so much better than any of my expectations.
Wickbox is really wonderful because when you sign up, you get a chance to fill out your scent profile. You’ll be able to specify scent families you love or don’t which was really nice for me since I have a lavender allergy. Their customer service is really responsive. They want to make this experience as lovely as possible.
This review is for the Large box which means there is one candle with a burn time of 60 to 100 hours. The Medium boxes have a candle with a burn time of 30-60 hours.

The candle I received is by DL & Co. Candles. The scent is Vanille Peche and is a combination of peach, bergamot, jasmine, rosewood, vanilla and cinnamon. It is part of their Maison D’Or Collection and is encased in an electroplated gold-metallic patterned tumbler. Are you noticing how preeetty it is!?
It is absolutely gorgeous and smells divine. According to DL & Co. they use a unique and patented blend of soy, maple and palm waxes to allow their candles to diffuse the fragrant oils without interpretation and smoke.
This candle has a retail price of $85. That’s some serious luxury. Any thoughts of whether this subscription would be worth it or not were immediately assuaged. It’s worth it. Especially if you live a candle-rich life. I can hardly wait to start burning this!
VERDICT: I didn’t really know what to expect from Wickbox and I have to say that all my expectations were far exceeded. I loved the packaging, the presentation, the candle itself, the incredible value and the attention to my personal scent profile needs. I’m still sitting here finding it hard to believe that a luxury candle subscription could have done everything so very right.
This is the kind of subscription you should get for a candle lover, a loved one, a significant other or just someone you want to blow away with your generosity and thoughtfulness. I’m serious. If my husband had sent me this… That is some major points.
