What You Get: At least five products worth over $300 in fashion, beauty and lifestyle carefully curated by Rachel Zoe and her team.
This is made in Great Britain and is a British company (in case the Cambridge part didn’t already clue you in). It smells wonderfully of leather. The strap is too long for me even across my body but I’m short (5’2″) and that’s not unusual. If I punch a few more holes in it I think I’d be much more likely to use it. There are no pockets inside but the bag is quite stiff and roomy.
The hardware is heavy and sturdy. The flimsiest thing would be the strap which is pretty thin (and it’s not flimsy at all sooo….). Gah. I just can’t decide how much use this would get. As a clutch it’s pretty awesome. It also comes with a dust bag.

Mara Hoffman Sarong Exclusive– This is so beautiful! The fabric is glorious and perfect for the horrible heat we’ve been having to live with lately. I love the bright colors. This particular pattern was made exclusively for Rachel Zoe for the box of style so it’s pretty important. It looks like a jungle. The fabric is very thin and it’s suggested to use this as a scarf once fall hits. It’s a big square and has tassels on the corners. I put it on and my husband asked me where did I get such a “cute outfit.” Of course, I said “A subscription box!”

Too Faced Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer– Too Faced has been on my radar for awhile since getting an eyeshadow palette in a Popsugar box last year. I freely admit that I haven’t worn much makeup in my life. Partly because my mom never wore it and partly because I managed to get good genes. I really can’t take credit for my skin (thanks, mom!).
However! Now that I’m past 35, I’m finding that makeup is my friend and when it comes to brightening up my complexion and providing a little more definition to my cheekbones, a bronzer works wonders. I actually watched this video by Maskcara and learned frame-by-frame (seriously, I paused it after each new section) how to apply bronzer, highlighter and concealer.
This is a nice pinky bronzer and I’m excited to try it. Currently I’m in love with my Tarte Park Avenue Princess but I’ll be giving this one some love. I feel bad for my BareMinerals collection because I haven’t used any of them in ages.

Too Faced La Creme Colour Drenched Lipstick in Spice Spice Baby- This is gorgeous! I was so afraid I would get some kind of red but no! It’s a nice mauve rose and it slides on silky smooth with a glistening finish. Love it. Plus, it has peptides in it. I love peptides in my skincare.
I also love the packaging. The gold metal is luxe feeling and the cap takes some pressure to get back on. The good thing about that is that the cap is never going to come off in your handbag.

These are pretty large. Like the size of my palm. They’re very thin and arrive on hard plastic trays. They’re definitely sticky and I feel like they collected fuzz just from the air. They’re easy to clean with soap and water.

O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Face Peel– I love the inclusion of skincare! Unfortunately, I have pretty rigid standards these days when it comes to what goes on my face. The biggest thing is that it has to have effective ingredients. It’s no good to slather something on if it’s going to do precisely nothing for my skin. There’s a LOT of that kind of thing out there and it’s a process to weed through it all.
This is a little bit different because it’s a cleanser/face peel. This is not going to peel the skin of your face off. There are no acids involved that will do that kind of thing. However it looks like when you rub this, it will pill up (it’s not your skin! Don’t worry!). It’s basically collecting up any gunk left on your skin. I haven’t tried it yet so I don’t know if it’s better or worse than anything else.
I’m actually pleased that it has glycerin as a moisturizer and aloe as a skin soother. If you have really sensitive skin, this does have grapefruit extract in it which can be an irritant. And there’s a little bit of retinol but since this is not something that stays on your skin it’s not going to be super beneficial.
I haven’t decided about this. I have SO much stuff to try and this actually does seem fun but it’s not so amazing that it jumps to the front of that line.

VERDICT: I love the curation of this Box of Style. I love that there were two fashion items, summer appropriate make up, skincare and an unusual fashion accessory. I can’t help loving this box because I know how hard it can be to find one size fits all type things. It still won’t be possible to have everything fit everyone but I think I’m lucky enough to be in a section of the population where I can fit most stuff. Even then, I still don’t fit it all. I was so bummed when the Kendra Scott bracelet from the Popsugar LE box didn’t fit. Small wrists aren’t always a blessing, let me just say that.
Sign up to get the Fall 2015 box before it sells out! Get $10 off with this link! These babies seem to go SO fast. They haven’t yet released the “hero” item for the Fall box but I have a feeling once they do, it’s going to disappear.
Sign up here! The Fall box ships on September 1st and will be worth at least $300.
What do you think about this box?! The satchel? Too white? Too leathery? Whats the best way to wrap a sarong that won’t fall off?
